Christina Morassi is a photographer on a mission; to revolutionize the way women embody their businesses. Combining photography, sacred ritual and social media, she is redefining the power of what an image can do.
Christina’s love affair with the camera began at age 9, when she received an instamatic Polaroid. She immediately began carefully arranging her young friends in interesting poses, and loved how a camera could really ‘capture’ moments.
This became quite poignant when her brother died from cancer when she was 13. Here she learned how life could truly change in an instant.
Her love of photography carried her through Yearbook Photography Editor in High School, as well as graduating with it as a major in college. Afterward, she moved to New York City, and jumped into working as a photographer’s assistant on high level fashion shoots with the likes of Giselle, Heidi Klum, and Cindy Crawford.
At age 27, Christina was chosen as part of Surface Magazine’s young, unpublished photographer’s edition. Her work also appeared on the magazine’s gala invitation distributed nationwide. Soon thereafter, the death of a beloved grandmother altered the course of her career.
It brought up many questions about true living, so fashion and all of its vanities began to lose its lustre. Christina was then inspired to set her camera aside, and moved to Los Angeles to embark on what would become a 10-year journey in the Healing Arts.
At 38, after developing a practice as a Cranial Sacral and Polarity Therapist, engaging in the study of Improvisational Theater and leading her own workshops, Christina found her way back to the camera.

Her first love rekindled, Christina began photographing friends again. She combined photography with the transformation principles from her Healing Arts work and broadcast the images on her website and via social media. Within 6 months, Christina aligned with several local networking groups and mentors, formally launching her new business.
In the last six months, she has worked with local and international clients, created an online program called “30 Days of Genius” with 100 women participating, and presented her work as an integral part of women’s entrepreneurial events in Los Angeles.
Christina has currently developed a year-long program called The Year of Your Genius. It’s time. Grab your place on this planet with a ROAR. You can see more at http://christinamorassi.com/genius/.
