Four years ago, I did a great exercise from a book called Five Wishes by Gay Hendricks.

In this book, Gay invites you to imagine being on your deathbed and looking back over your life… And, if you considered your life a success, what would you see in it?

Well I found the question to be quite the powerful inquiry…. And four years ago, my answer was a super surprising one for me.

It was clear as day that I would consider my life a success if I was…. A Philanthropist?!

Now, if you know my story… Then you know that at that very time I was hippie/healer/burning man girl making a whopping $600 a month. So that obviously begged the question… How on God’s Green Earth was I going to turn THAT into being a Philanthropist?! (And not the starving activist kind of philanthropist, mind you… What I saw was the kind of philanthropist who made millions of dollars, lived a beautiful life, and now used their time and resources to help others profoundly.)

Well, ours is not to question why or how, right? So I committed to this vision within my heart in that moment… And then a mere 3 weeks later, the Universe led me to my first workshop on Internet Marketing. At that meeting I learned about the power of leveraging my gifts to build my business empire to reach 100′s… So I took the next year learning and preparing, and then launched my brand new business 12 months later.

Cut to… I’m now finishing up my 3rd year in business… And I’m beyond blown away that I’ve worked and grown and stretched myself to create a business that grossed well over $600K this year.

WOW!

And… I swear that’s not even the best part… Truly. The whole reason I am telling you this story is because of THIS:

I had the most extraordinary experience at my 3-day Ecstatic Wealth Live Event Experience on Dec 3-5th… Unbelievable to me… Myself and my community worked together to raise $25K to adopt a village in Africa for FIVE YEARS.

Then people who’s lives may be changed in Africa would never have received these opportunities.

I’m so proud of my community! And, this is really how it all works. We have something to offer. People are waiting for our help. And it leads to us doing our part to affect great change in the world.

And so it is.

Back in June 2011 we experienced Christina Morassi’s first ever live event, Flip Your Switch under the balmy summer sun and picturesque views of Marin Del Rey, Los Angeles. Just six months later it was time to take it up a notch. The W Hotel in Hollywood, host to A List celebrities and the crème de la crème of Tinseltown play host to Ecstatic Wealth. The next evolution of Christina’s mission to empower women entrepreneurs to embrace all there gifts and become the celebrity of brand.

The event tagline reads: Rock Your Purpose. Make Money. Change The World.

I can feel this is going to be something special…

Arriving at the W is a whole VIP experience in itself. Getting in late from my flight from London, I was greeted by the site of some of the glossiest people I have ever seen, hanging out in impeccable style in the decadent hotel lobby and bar. Looking around I soon spotted the grand, winding staircase decked out with, what else, but a red carpet. A venue fit for Divas! (And a few Divos!)

Ecstatic Wealth began bright and early on December 3^rd 2013 and as the delegates, or Ecstatic Wealthers as they have become affectionately known, enter via the grand staircase or “The Catwalk” – a red-carpeted bridge suspended high above the bar below. It’s obvious that Christina’s keen eye for detail has been cast over proceedings because everything is stunning. From the flowers that deck the registration tables, to the discreet, yet glam name tags with pretty gold chains. As we entered the “Great Room” we passed Christina’s step and repeat paparazzi style background complete with red velvet rope and professional lighting, and got to see the beautiful stage set for the first time. Huge displays of white orchids topped gold sequinned bedecked tables against a backdrop of hot pink. The Ecstatic Wealther’s tables wore stunning arrangements of pink roses standing in a base of golden gems. Everyone had a Morassi Million Dollar Bill in their place. The Ecstatic Brand mentor knows how to set the scene for transformation!

Jessica Procini took to the stage to kick off the event and introduce our leader in Ecstatic Wealth. She shared her journey working with Christina before getting the crowd whoopin’ and hollerin’ for increasingly larger imagined chunks of cash. At $2 million is was time for Christina to enter in her incredible bespoke gown of sunshine yellow satin with the rock ‘n’ roll edge of a black corset belt.

 

Christina begins by explaining what the meaning of Ecstatic Wealth. Admittedly, not two words that are usually seen side by side.  She told us the story of how before she started on her entrepreneurial track, house sitting was her means of accommodation and with no fixed abode she would go shopping in her storage unit. Now she wears Entrepreneur Couture, created with stylist Sybil Henry, and gets to present her expertise from the stage. She tells us how she would attend conferences and seminars not unlike Ecstatic Wealth and sit in the audience feeling she should be on the stage. And she explains that creating you own business is the best self-development program in the world “Stick with this business stuff and it will push every single button in your DNA!”

A slide on the big screens to either side of the stage lay out Christina’s intentions for us in bullet point form:

Christina as always uses her unique combination of movement, dance and solid business content to facilitate transformation. She tells the room of over 100 Ecstatic Wealthers who have travelled from across the world that “This is something we need to do together. The magic will happen in the room”

After some incredible shifts in the first half of day one, the afternoon sees the wonderful Baeth Davis, hand analyst and palm pilot to your soul take to the stage to give us some straight up business advice after letting us in on a wider vision for the world

 

“There is a galactic cosmic shift happening. The rising up of the feminine. We’re coming out of 5000 years of patriarchy. Men and women are learning to work together”

She tells our Ecstatic Wealthers how to trust their instincts in business and life “Live only from a yes. Because if it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no.”

Baeth shares just a snippet of what she knows about discovering your life’s purpose in your hands and leaves the stage dancing with Christina, a perfect segue into the Hollywood club style dance party that lays in store for our delegates later that evening.

DJ C-Love AKA Cynthia Lou takes to the stage to rock us with the hottest party tunes as Ecstatic Wealthers strike poses behind the red velvet ropes and take to the floor with their energetic moves and hula hooping skills!

 

Day two brings more striking transformations and breakthroughs, with ample opportunities for the Ecstatic Wealthers to share their experiences at the mic and a super fun success panel after lunch which I was privileged to sit and speak on with four of my fellow Confident Business Divas. We shared our stories of working with Christina and the incredible successes that we’ve skyrocketed to over the 4 months that we’ve been working with Christina so far.

The end of day two leads into a bonus session around Wealth Consciousness. Christina channels that it should be an evening of close and personal interaction with the Ecstatic Wealthers as they are invited to step up to the mic as they feel called to share their pearls of Wealth Wisdom. Christina starts us off by letting us know that tonight she wants us to fall in love with money. And for money to fall in love with us.

We garner some incredibly enlightened insights around money and wealth from our awesome delegates, not to mention  the now infamous “Seven Figure Orgasm” channelled for us by Julia Kline. You had to be there to understand the power of it, so I won’t try to explain, except to say that it was much talked about the following day and featured on many people’s highlights of the whole event!

“Money is energy.”

“Money is Erotic Equity. Erotic energy is al about creation.”

“Money is everywhere.”

“Bank statements are a love letter from money”

Day three moves into the arena of Global Contribution, with Christina sharing the fullest concept behind the Ecstatic Wealth event. She uses A List celebrities as example of people who are using their star power for good. People who have reached the top of their game and now have the wealth and influence to make a true difference to those that need them. Christina asks “Do you think I was making a difference when I was house sitting and earning $600 a month?!”

 

“We must learn to master success as fast as we can to get to our social cause.”

“You need to get to a place of power so you can help the people that need you.”

“This is about your purpose on the planet and what you owe to the other people on the planet who need you.”

For this event Christina had chosen to partner with the inspirational charity the Unstoppable Foundation, whose mission is to lift100,000 children and their families out of extreme poverty through education and sustainable community development by year-end 2014.

We had the honour to hear from Connie Viveros of the Unstoppable Foundation on behalf of founder Cynthia Kersey. Connie told us the awe-inspiring tale of how Cynthia overcame a painful personal situation by building houses in Nepal. Cynthia decided that when she had built100 houses for vulnerable communities in Nepal that the endeavour would become bigger than her pain, and the Unstoppable Foundation was born.

 

Connie explains to us that it takes $25,000 to build a school and sustainably support a village in Africa for 5 years and this final day of Ecstatic Wealth presents a unique opportunity for Christina’s community to band together to try and pool this sum of money. Christina had a banner specially commissioned that would be displayed in the village when we had achieved the $25,000 goal. Each Ecstatic Wealther who contributed to this fund could sign their name on the banner and write a personal message to the Foundation and those it helped. Donation forms rolled steadily up to the stage as Christina and Connie beamed proud smiles.

After this beautiful opportunity came the delightful guest speaker Sharla Jacobs who enthralled us with her awesome knowledge of the heart centered sales conversation and shared that when she’s around Christina “It makes me want to be the biggest fullest expression of myself!”

Sharla, as a special gift to the Ecstatic Wealthers, gifted everyone in the room a full scholarship to her and her husband, Jesse Koren’s Rejuvenate Your Practice training weekend in 2013.

After another delicious VIP lunch, Christina returned to the stage to announce that we reached $21,000 in the room through one time and regular donations to the Unstoppable Foundation as well as a special contribution that Christina had made on behalf of every new Confident Business Diva that signed up to her program at the event. The room was thrilled to hear that Christina would make up the $4,000 difference so that we could say that between us, on that day, we used our star power for good!

 

The final session of Ecstatic Wealth got down to the nitty gritty of business marketing. Christina shared a Gabrielle Roth quote with us: “If you’re not dancing on the edge of your comfort zone you’re taking up too much space.” She also taught her cutting edge marketing techniques around promotionless promotion and building brand equity.

“People say that this is the Information Age. Really? Do you really want or need any more information? I say that this is the Experiential Age. We are looking for and we learn by experiences.”

 

And what an experience Ecstatic Wealth was.

One week after the closure of Flip Your Switch our Social Media Maven Jo Westwood – The Virtual Party Planner sums up the event in her own words as our guest blogger…. Check out Flip Your Switch from a Jo’s Eye View!

In the aftermath of Flip Your Switch I sit here contemplating just how much bigger my life is about to get. Christina’s words “Just breathe and dream into it” are echoing in my head.

To try and put down in mere words what the business event of the summer, possibly of ever, is some task. But I am about to try my utmost to fully describe the many varied elements of what Christina gifted to us, and quite frankly the hugeness of it all.

I should start by saying that this event was massive. A one off. I don’t doubt there will be more, but to be there at the beginning was magical. Christina literally grew in beauty, in visibility, in prowess, in her gifts before our very eyes, each day on stage. If you weren’t there, next time, let this be a lesson to you!

Flip Your Switch started, I’m sure, as a spark in the genius of Christina Morassi, who in my mind is still a hot ass pocket rocket of Italian descent, with a fire for business in her belly. (In real life actually she’s not as pocket sized as I imagined, but her focussed feistiness conjures images of those petite well heeled ladies you just know you’re going to listen to!)

However the first I heard of “The Event”, as it became known between us, was when I started to work with Christina on her first online course – Find Your Ecstatic Brand. I was obviously in the right place at the right time as I wound up working with Christina to create buzz across her social networks, freeing her up get into her real genius.

A month or so into our new working relationship she asked me to come to LA and live report Flip Your Switch. I had been secretly hoping for this, and so had already booked my flight, accommodation and tickets, knowing that either way the leap of faith would be well worth it.

(I have to say this was, I think, the best decision I have ever made. I am in love with LA, and in a not 100% platonic way, Christina and her awesome group of beautiful friends!)

Flip Your Switch started for me with butterflies in my stomach on the eve of Tuesday 19^th June 2012. I had met Christina for the first time and found her to be calm and collected, readying herself for three days of onstage magic and transformation for over 100 Divas and Divos (the gentlemen of the species) from around the world. And I repeat, I thought I was nervous!

After a not too restful sleep, Tuesday came and with the armour of my statuesque hair do and sequinned colour pop outfit I made it to the Bayview Ballroom without tripping up. A good omen, I told myself!

That morning, whilst set up was still happening and an energy that felt like static electricity was in the air I made my first ever video. Remember I told you Christina is on of those ladies you know you’re going to listen too? Well she told me to make videos! I could literally feel the voltage of one hundred or more gifted open hearts in the nine floors beneath me, making my feet tingle a little. Stepping into their carefully chosen outfits in their rooms, or perhaps making their way to the roof of Marina Del Rey in the elevator.

Just after 8am and the stunning light bathed room starts to fill. The rising star of business, health and general badass baby momma attitude Amanda Moxley graces the stage to introduce our very own Christina Morassi! To paraphrase sports commentators the world over, the crowd goes wild! As if her presence and juicy content weren’t enough, the beauty, the body, the dress will keep you mesmerized for the next 9 hours and beyond! Christina later reveals that she railed against the dress she wore on the first day, a bodacious pale neon, full length body con number with a Swarovski crystal neck piece. Thankfully stylist Sybil Henry stepped in with some tough love and told her in no uncertain terms that she looked amazing, and there was no way she was getting out of it. Literally!

An optional, but highly encouraged prerequisite of working with Christina, attending her events included, is stepping up your wardrobe game. She makes the very logical business point that if you’re invisible because you choose clothes that make you blend in, you won’t attract the clients you really want.

She’s proving a point with this one and we all listen attentively as she sets out her intention for us for the three days ahead. “Utter fulfilment, from your soul, down to your bones”. What I love most about the way Christina works is how she blends the super straight up business sense with the spiritual intuitive pieces. The masculine energy with the feminine. It’s what kept us going for three solid days of intense learning and content.

Specifically the way Christina alternated between getting down and dirty with the numbers, focussing on sales wording and marketing techniques, with letting loose, dancing, “walking and talking” (a unique business tool if you ever saw one!) is what made Flip Your Switch so special.

As a pretty static point of reference behind my social media station at the back of the room I often attracted folks during the breaks who wanted to share their thoughts with me. The one I heard most often was how Flip Your Switch was like nothing they had ever experienced before.

Christina continued for three days (and two nights!) like this, mixing the solid foundations of business practice with her experience of the healing arts to get us into our essence, truly integrating the brand with the body.

The success panel was a fabulous feature of day two, with clients, and many now friends, of Christina’s letting us in on their successes, and continuing development. They came from across states and continents. One panel member flew in from Sweden! Heather Jernigan described herself as a “Christina junkie” and when Tara Porsander was asked did she have any doubts about signing up to work with Christina the reply came “Ab-so-lute-ly not!”.

Besides the success panel a plethora of awesome guests joined Christina on stage over the three days, some just for short spots of movement and play, others like Vrinda Normand and Bill Baren for longer sets, delivering invaluable education on marketing, copy and sales. The calibre of the guests matched the bar Christina had set in every other respect.

The deliciously exotic Vrinda was utterly authentic and gave us heart warming education on how to create killer copy. Bill talked heart centred sales like we’d never heard before. And <a href=”www.itsnotaboutthechair.com”>Lyena Strelkoff</a> finished off the guest spots on day three with an undeniable story to motivate even the meekest of souls. When she finished speaking there was not a dry eye in the house and during, you could hear a pin drop.

Amanda Moxley reappeared for the second evening session on Wealth Consciousness, and with Christina created a chemistry on stage that can only happen when two real friends start to have fun, and just happen to be in front of a hundred strong audience!

As you can imagine 72 hours of full on transformational work, and skyrocketing personal brands is hard to squeeze into just one blog post, but I hope this gives you at least a taste of the wonder we all experienced in those glorious three days.
